Liberty, Equality, Fraternity

Jacobins (K. Lavan)
As a member of the Jacobins, I stand by the slogan, "Liberty, Equality, Fraternity." We eliminated the monarchy, giving France a republic. By creating the republic, we have given the people of France a way to freely express their views. We want equality for everyone. Whether you are a man who owns lands or just an urban working man, everyone deserves equal rights. The monarchy didn't provide equality and we are uniting France. All men, no matter what class, will be like a brother.  Prior to us taking control, everyone did not have the same rights. There was no unity between the different estates. The top two estates had major benefits while only being the majority of the people. We are the majority of the people, and we had few benefits. Me and other Jacobins have provided the people of France liberty, equality, and fraternity. The nation has free, equal right and are united has one, not many estates.

This is exactly what we need. Liberty, equality, and fraternity is what will bring some sanity to this country. It will get me away from these crazy and barbaric people, and it will also get me out of this prison. It's sickening to see these people die everywhere with this high amount bloodshed. Liberty will keep people away from getting hurt like this. Equality will keep people equal to each other with no power over others. Fraternity is what will make this a calm and peaceful community. In order to make France great enough to lead by example, we must live by the words liberty, equality, and fraternity.

  2. John Locke (Anna Buckley) I completely agree with you. The steps have been taken, and should continue to be taken to make sure liberty, equality and fraternity shape the country. We need to come together as one, as you said, and bring peace to the land. Everyone deserves to be equal and by following this motto, they will.

I don't agree with you at all! Everyone being unified and equal is great, but that should be the smallest priority compared to the safety of the people. We should not be spending our time doing group bonding exercises, so we can have fraternity, instead we should be looking for a monarch who will lead our country to success. People will listen better to one sole leader instead of a group of un-educated lower class citizens. Order, Security an efficiency should always be our first priority and slogan.
