Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity (Amin Rajaee)
Liberty, equality, and fraternity may be the perfect slogan for this country to follow. Liberty would give freedom to those who have long desired it. Equality would go for law, human rights, and other important factors. Fraternity would make this a community filled with people that have common interests and great ideas. A large community of people working well together for the better of the country and themselves is what the outcome of this would be. My theory of separation of powers would thrive under this slogan. Each branch would be equal to the others in the amount of power they have. A perfect society could be created from this. Order, security, and efficiency would not be the best goals for a country to strive for. None of those would have a large effect on the people of the community. Liberty, equality, and fraternity are the key goals to reach for in order to make this a better country for all of its people to live in.

ReplyDeleteSorry, but I beg to differ. How can our country have the slogan of, "Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity" when we lack liberty, equality, and fraternity. How can we be equal if the second and third estate are paying taxes? How can we have a brotherhood if all citizens are being treated unequally? Order, security, and efficiency is what we need. With these components, we can have a structured government that is organized and fair.

ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you! Although our slogan was Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity, and we didn't have those, our goal should have been to fight for those. If we change the slogan we will never have any of those. Liberty, Equality and Fraternity are the basic requirements for citizens.
