Jacobin (J. Bernard-Sasges)
The month is September, the year, 1792. My name is Jacques Blanchard, and I am a member of the Jacobin party of France. I, along with my fellow party members, have a sole purpose of fixing my dear country of France, and rid it of its government's tyrannous history. About one month ago we found out the king was in league with the enemies! We marched to the palace of Tuileries and put some of the king's guards to death for their sins. Unfortunately, the king and his family had already fled the palace and we were unable to make it in time. However, yesterday, we took another march for justice to several prisons in Paris. We have done our jobs and rightfully punished many of the prisoners inside for their crimes. We have done Paris, and all of France, a great favor by defending her from some of her most threatening enemies. We will be seen in the future as patriots doing our country a favor, and protecting it from further disaster. Merci beaucoup, et au revoir!
Royal Family (Spencer) How could you agree with such a terrible act of unkindness and cruelty. This is a month that will mark our country for countless years to come, and you are happy with this? You are killing and capturing my friends and family. We are being forced to flee the country out of complete fear. The audacity, you should be ashamed of yourself, killing helpless people. This will be stopped, and you will pay for what you have done.
ReplyDeleteAlec Gannon (Marie Antoinette)- A Jacobin being seen as a patriot? How could you define a man that has killed so many innocent others as a hero? The Royal Family maintained a functioning government, but you decided to thirst for blood and kill our priests and nobles. Everything "favor" you complete will tear the history of french apart, yet you dare to call yourself a Frenchman. You must stop these marches and revolts, or what good will ever come of France? The violence must end.

ReplyDeleteWorking Woman (Nick DiBiasio)- Mr. Blanchard, over the couple of weeks, i've have seen the unexplained almost everyday. Priests are dying in mass numbers in gruesome ways, innocent people such as children and woman that I know have been locked away in prison, and i've almost reached my breaking point. I love how you and your Jacobites are taking action and occupying the city but all in all the main goal is to free the people and if that means killing some people, fine by me, just free us from misery.

ReplyDeleteWhat sins have we royals committed? How is it that we are tyrannical? If anything, it is the radicals who sin, it is the radicals who commit tyranny. For years, order has remained in France because everything was set in place. Now it is as though a large crack has been wedged into the lifestyles, the lively hoods of all people. The radicals kill and do not have mercy. They kill all who stand in their way, whether it be the innocent or the guilty. It is not the radicals who are freeing people of France from misery, instead they are digging a deep hole, a hole that is dug deeper and deeper into France. A hole they shall use to cover the bodies of their innocent victims.
