I back Hitler up one hundred percent in attacking Poland. The thing is, I am not his friend. Nor do I ever plan to be. As a leader I saw this move necessary because I fear that he will bring fascism into Russia. There is no need to start a war with Germany at this point in time so of course, I agreed to the Nazi-Soviet Pact. And now that Poland is being invaded? Well... I get some of the land and I don't need to send men out there. That's a double win for Russia.
Dwight Eisenhower (I. Iannotti): I am truly astounded by your lack of sympathy towards the victims of Hitler's wrath. How can you say that you don't see a reason to start a war with Germany? How about the fact that thousands and soon to be millions of people are being tortured mentally and physically and possible being executed for no reason! The fact that you're just watching this happen and feel no emotion makes you just as bad as Hitler himself!

ReplyDeleteHow can you "back Hitler up one hundred percent" and "feel there is no need to start a war with Germany?" Why do you think it is okay for Hitler to invade Poland? He is killing thousands of innocent people because he is greedy and wants to expand the German empire. We must not let Hitler kill any more innocent people but we must use diplomacy and compromises to stop him. On the other hand, we cannot continue to agree to his demands because he will never be satisfied and because appeasement only makes the aggressor more aggressive.
